Hawks need to take advantage of their schedule

The schedule gods were very gracious to the Hawks for the month of March after giving the Atlanta Hawks a brutal February. For the Hawks, February was spent away from home, having only three home games during the course of the whole month. March, on the other hand, features twelve games at the Highlight Factory, of which nine will be in the playoffs, or at least the teams are in a position where they can make the playoffs. This is where the Hawks solidify their #4 seed (currently 1.5 games ahead of the Heat) and get some confidence to be able to play against these other possible playoff teams. At the same time, the Hawks need to be able to take care of business when they play the “weaker” teams, such as the New York Knicks and the Charlotte Bobcats, which they failed to do last week, but redeemed themselves partially by defeating the Detroit Pistons on Saturday night. Though the Hawks don’t have many of those “weaker” teams (only 3 sub-.500 teams in the whole month), they have to take care of business.
